Weaver of Flesh and Fluid

Overview

Weaver of the Flesh and Fluid, Weaver for short, is a founding member of the Artisans who appeared in The Road To session “The Fall of the Serpent.” She was played by Courtney, and built using the Imposter playbook in Armour Astir.

Appearance

Weaver, at the time of her appearance in “The Fall of the Serpent,” is an elderly woman of not quite determinable age. One suspects she might be older than she looks. She is short, white, with a long silver braid and brown eyes, and looks like your stereotypical granny. She dresses in a dark colored jumpsuit with many handwoven shawls layered over top.

Background

Home Planet

Weaver was born on Syncytium, a small forested planet in the nNull system. She grew up in an isolated community, relatively free from but often threatened by nNull’s oppressive surveillance. During her adolescence Weaver discovered ancient technology-a series of circular ports that embed into the skin-that enabled her to create an Astir from her own connective tissues. She named this creature The Loom, and began to master her newfound abilities.

Rebellion

As an adult she helped found The Artisans, an anarchist coalition dedicated to keeping Syncytium autonomous and free of nNull’s surveillance. Over the years Weaver gained a reputation as nNull’s bogeyman, her Astir a monstrosity of blood and flesh and fascia that rarely left survivors.
